Over 700 lost, surrendered, homeless and abandoned animals were cared for at CCHS in 2022 - could you help us help them?
The adoption fees for our animals essentially covers their:
spay/neuter surgery,
worming,
vaccinations,
microchip,
heart worm test & Lyme disease tests (dogs),
FIV/FeLV test (for cats)
and 1 month of preventative for fleas, ticks and heart worm.
These fees cover the essential care in preparation for adoption.
We rely on donations to cover the costs associated with daily care, additional medical costs such as injury, existing conditions and monthly preventatives for dogs and cats here for an extended period, utilities, insurance, facility and van maintenance, cleaning products, dog and cat food, cat litter, cleaning supplies, etc.
